Display purpose
Pinnable Dressmaker Torso is a configurable product family for draping and positioning fabric on a workroom torso. This reference identifies a configurable family; the quotation confirms the specification.
Shape, fit and working space
For a useful comparison, record bust, waist, hip, shoulder and back length together with the required pinning area. Clarify the pinning depth and surface construction; a display covering alone does not establish that the body accepts pins.
For draping, specify the areas where pins must enter, including shoulders, side seams and waist. Ask whether pins go into the body or only a covering and how the material responds to repeated use. A firm display torso should not be assumed to perform like a sewing form.
Material, surface and support
Specify whether direct pinning is required through the torso and ask for the usable depth and areas. Check shoulder and waist shaping, covering, stand connection and whether the body shape is fixed or adjustable.
Handling and care
Remove pins after each fitting and check the cover and insertion surface for wear. Obtain the selected material’s cleaning instructions rather than assuming every fabric cover is washable.
